ITS Announces Upcoming Planned Technology Outage

ITS will be performing maintenance on multiple systems. The systems will be unavailable for everyone during the listed service windows.
ITS will be performing maintenance on these systems during this time.
- Degreeworks: Thursday, Nov. 7, from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is phase 1 of 3-part upgrade. Phases 2 and 3 will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14, and Thursday, Nov. 21.
- Tableau: Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. until Sunday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m.
- Alteryx: Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. until Sunday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m.
- Password Desk: Saturday, Nov. 9, from 12:01 a.m. to 8 a.m.
- Automic: Sunday, Nov. 10, from 12:01 a.m. to 8 a.m.
What does this mean for students?
During the outage on Thursday, Nov. 7, between 2 a.m. and 2 p.m. students will not have access to Degreeworks.
What does this mean for faculty and staff?
During the Tableau and Alteryx outage from Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. to Sunday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m., faculty and staff will not have access to Alteryx and Tableau.
During the Automic outage Sunday, November 10, between 12:01 a.m. and 8 a.m., scheduled processes from Banner to other applications, such as Workday, eIRB, InfoEd, SLATE, DualEnroll etc.), will not run.
When will the applications be available again?
ITS will provide an update via email if the outage extends past the maintenance window on Sunday. Check the ask.slu.edu homepage for additional information during the outage.
