1818 Advanced College Credit Program Sees Enrollment Growth
04/11/2025
The 1818 Advanced College Credit Program is celebrating another year of growth, with 6,523 students enrolled for the 2024-2025 academic year—an 11% increase from the previous year.
Students from 10 different states across the country are now taking advantage of the program’s dual-credit offerings, which allow them to earn college credit while still in high school. This continued expansion is made possible through strategic investments in partner schools, ensuring that students receive a high-quality, seamless transition into college coursework.
A key factor in the program’s growth has been its commitment to affordability. Since 2021, the 1818 Program has quadrupled its scholarship funding, dramatically increasing access for students who may not otherwise be able to participate.
In the 2024-2025 academic year alone, the program awarded $130,000 in scholarships, enabling over 500 students to enroll in dual-credit courses free of charge. This represents a 24% increase in scholarship funding from the previous year, demonstrating a steadfast dedication to financial accessibility.
As the 1818 Advanced College Credit Program continues to expand, it remains focused on providing meaningful, cost-effective opportunities that prepare students for college success. By strengthening partnerships, increasing financial support, and enhancing academic experiences, the program is shaping the future of higher education accessibility and success for students nationwide.
