Campus Community Invited to HLC Open Forums
04/10/2025
Saint Louis University will undergo a reaffirmation of Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation review in the fall of 2025.
The primary component of that review will be the completion of an Assurance Argument,
documenting how SLU meets the HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.
The Office of the Provost will coordinate this work and will submit the argument in
November. As part of SLU's preparation, there will be three open forums for the SLU community, one each at the
North and South campuses in St. Louis, and one for the Madrid campus.
The content of these sessions will be to provide an overview of the criteria, share
how SLU has met these in the past, ask participants for any other ideas they may have
about how SLU meets the criteria, and answer any related questions.
The Open Fora will take place on the following dates, times, and locations:
- North campus: Wednesday, April 16, at noon, in BSC 256 and on Zoom
- Madrid campus: Tuesday, April 22, 8 a.m,. US Central time/3 p.m. Madrid time on Zoom
