SLU Community Can Provide Feedback on Proposed University Policy

04/15/2025

The University community has the opportunity to provide feedback during a 30-day comment period on a policy.

The policy and feedback form can be found on the Policy Program website.

The University's Bias-Related Incident Policy ensures that all students and employees who are affected by an encounter with a bias incident have the necessary resources as soon as possible, including personal support and a process for having these concerns investigated and adjudicated.  This is a new university policy that will replace an existing internal bias protocol that has existed for many years.  The policy allows for more transparency with respect to the procedures used to address bias concerns, a new online bias log to track bias reports, and an updated appeal process.

Feedback on the Bias-Related Incident Policy will be accepted until 5 p.m., May 16, 2025.

Send any questions to Michael A. Reeves, Ph.D., assistant vice president of compliance and ethics at 314-977-5880  or Michael.reeves@health.slu.edu
