Mass Offered for Pope Francis on Wednesday

Saint Louis University joins the universal Catholic Church, the Society of Jesus, and the rest of the world in mourning the loss of the Holy Father, Pope Francis.

Pope Francis was a beacon of hope, trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit to renew the Church and to guide us in mercy, justice, and love. In his words and in his witness, he reminded us that the Spirit is always at work — breathing new life into the world, even in times of struggle.

The SLU community is invited to join the Division for Mission and Identity, Campus Ministry, and St. Francis Xavier College Church for Mass at noon on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 to pray for Pope Francis, giving thanks to God for his loving and faithful service to the people of God.
