Free Student Tickets Available for 'Ride the Cyclone'
04/24/2025
Free tickets are available for SLU students beginning one hour before each performance of "Ride the Cyclone," presented by SLU Theatre and Dance at The Grandel. Performances are April 24-26 with showtimes on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m. with matinees on Friday and Saturday at 1 p.m.
In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived!
Featuring SLU students Madelyn Purcell as Jane Doe, Sophie Smith as Ocean, Makaina Woods as Constance, Aadi Kadam as Ricky, David Joseph as Mischa, Jake Santhuff as Noel, and Tony Chaboude as Karnak. The production is directed by Professor of Theatre Nancy Bell with music direction by Jason Eschhofen and choreography by Sara Rae Womack.
General admission tickets are available through Metrotix. Discounts are available for non-SLU students, educators (including SLU staff!), and groups of 10 or more.
