GSA Accepting Applications for Brennan Fellowship Awards and Recognition Awards

Students may apply for the fellowship awards for exam preparation or research starting Monday, Feb. 3.
Faculty, staff, peers, and undergraduates may nominate graduate students for recognition awards today.
Brennan Summer Fellowship Award
Graduate students may now apply for a Brennan Summer Fellowship Award for exam preparation, thesis research, or dissertation research starting February 3rd. Application instructions are available on the GSA website.
Applications are due Sunday, March 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
Graduate Student Recognition Awards
GSA is accepting applications for the annual Graduate Student Recognition Awards, given to those who excel in teaching, service, leadership, or mentoring. The Graduate Teaching Award is intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated excellence in teaching, either as a teaching assistant (TA) or as the primary instructor of record for a course.
The Service Award is intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated high levels of service to their department or the University community.
The Leadership Award is intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated exemplary leadership prowess in their program or otherwise on campus.
Nominations are also accepted for the Faculty Mentorship Award, which is intended for a professor who has inspired students and enhanced students' graduate education.
Nominators will be asked to submit a recognition describing the nominee's commitment to the University. Nominations are due no later than Sunday, March 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. More information can be found on the GSA website.
