12th Annual Health Care Ethics Research Conference Seeking Abstracts

The Albert Gnaegi Center for Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University will host its 12th Annual Health Care Ethics Research Conference on Friday, April 11th, 2025.

The SLU community is invited to participate either as a presenter or attendee.

Keith Wailoo, Ph.D., will present on “The Politics of Pain: Opioids, Race, and Relief in America." They keynote remarks will beat noon, Friday, April 11th in Cook Hall's Anheuser-Busch Auditorium.

Abstract Topics and Presentation Format

Organizers welcome submissions from students at any academic institution and in any discipline, with a focus on bioethics, health care ethics, or medical humanities. Presenters should prepare a 15-minute presentation of their research. This is an opportunity to showcase course projects, independent research, or completed papers.

Monetary prizes will be awarded to top papers in the following categories:
