In February 2025, Career Services released an interactive, public-facing, Experiential Learning Dashboard to increase data accessibility for the Saint Louis University community. This dashboard provides information about applied learning opportunities students have taken advantage of while pursuing their degrees.

Common experiential learning examples are internships, research, co-ops, practicums/clinicals, and field placements. The dashboard also provides information about modality, hours worked, and earnings and has filter options for academic year, school/college, and student level.

Career Services anticipates that this dashboard will provide relevant insights to various stakeholders, leading to meaningful conversations among faculty and leadership about the value of experience reporting. This dashboard also aligns with Saint Louis University's recent Research 1 designation because of the research data provided.

Career Services' Data Analyst, Charlie Revord, led the design and development aspects of this project, and Career Services' Experiential Learning Coordinator, Margaret McGuire, provided important information and context to ensure data accuracy. This dashboard has been in development for over a year, and Career Services is excited to share this work with their stakeholders.

In 2022, Career Services released their first dashboard, the Undergraduate Outcomes Dashboard, which shares the results of the undergraduate First-Destination Survey. This voluntary survey showcases what alumni have accomplished and where they have gone post-graduation. This new dashboard continues Career Services' initiative to build tools that enable the SLU community to explore relevant data.
