"Each one of us has been created for freedom and for love, and I think in a unique way this College serves that mission so poignantly looking for places where there are members of our human family who struggle and who are marginalized in a whole variety of ways and they labor to make right what has gone wrong," said Fr. Christoper Collins, SJ.
Our 422 graduates included:
- 151 undergraduates and 271 graduate students from 33 states and 10 countries
- 6 graduates served in the Armed Services
- Youngest graduate: 21 years old
- Oldest graduate: 60 years old
- 48 percent graduated with honors

Person-Centered Mental Health Care
Caroline Kebbe, a graduate of the Master of Social Work program, told the story of a powerful encounter she had with a 40-year-old, pregnant, intravenous drug user who sought help at the clinic where she works.
Men and Women 'For and With' Others
Souyma Ramireddy, B.S. in public health graduate, spoke about the Jesuit motto of
"for and with others" and how she saw it throughout her education at Saint Louis University.
