Inaugural Issue of Alumni Magazine Released
SoJust, the magazine of the College for Public Health and Social Justice, has published its first issue in the fall of 2016. SoJust shares diverse stories of scholarship, leadership and service, united by the college's shared mission.
The magazine’s cover feature brings together perspectives on the meaning and significance of social justice from faculty around the College, and invites readers to share their own thoughts on social media using the hashtag #SoJust.
We also profile Kate Becker, president and C.E.O. of SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. An alumna of the Master of Public Health program, Becker leads the hospital into a new era of community-focused health care.
“Our magazine’s title represents the most promising and transformational intersection of public health, social work, criminology and criminal justice, health management and applied behavior analysis,” said Collins Airhihenbuwa, dean of the College for Public Health and Social Justice. “We are indeed one college, bound by a shared commitment to working for a healthier and more just society.”
