Summary
This invention describes a foreign body detection device with a detector mounted proximate to a probe tip and an opposing tip for retrieving a foreign body from the soft tissue of a patient. The instrument includes a power supply and controls for operating and regulating the detector. The tips could include forceps, scissors, clamps and scalpels.
