Event Policies
We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Saint Louis University event. Please review some of our SLU event policies that may apply to your registration or attendance.
Event Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for on-campus or non-ticket-based events such as receptions and professional networking panel discussions must be received no later than three days before the scheduled event unless otherwise noted on the registration form.
Refunds of ticket-based events (i.e., off-campus networking events, professional sports outings) may be requested in writing up to two weeks prior to the event and will be processed if tickets are purchased by another party.
Refunds will be processed the week following the event and will be made in the same tender as the original purchase. Refunds will not include any donative portion of the event registration.
In the event of circumstances beyond its control, Saint Louis University’s Development Division reserves the right to amend or cancel any event.
Photo Release Policy
Saint Louis University uses photographs and audio and video recordings created at hosted events for general communication and marketing use, including print and digital marketing assets, public relations, promotions, social media, publicity and advertising.
An attendee's presence in or around Saint Louis University facilities and/or properties, as well as at off-campus, school-sponsored events, constitutes consent to the capture and/or use of their image and/or voice by Saint Louis University and waives any claims or rights, whether in law or in equity.
Individuals who wish to opt out are responsible for removing themselves and/or their minor child(ren) from areas in which photography and/or recording is taking place or notifying the camera operator of their opt-out status. Failure to do so may result in that individual's inclusion in a photograph or recording and will be treated as consent for Saint Louis University to utilize that photograph or recording accordingly.
