Curriculum and Rotations
Our three-year ACGME-accredited fellowship program provides a balanced combination of clinical and research experiences. Fellows rotate through various clinical settings and engage in individualized research projects.
- Year 1: Inpatient and outpatient rotations, microbiology lab and a dedicated research exploration month. Weekly continuity clinics during outpatient blocks.
- Years 2 and 3: Split between inpatient services (five months a year) and research (seven to eight months a year). Weekly outpatient I.D. clinics continue during this period, with opportunities to pursue research in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, and immunocompromised hosts.
This fellowship places a strong emphasis on teaching and education, with opportunities to mentor residents and medical students.
