Second Chance Job Readiness Programs teach skills that can help you get hired and stay hired. Plus, completing one of these programs shows employers that you are willing to learn, work hard, and follow through on commitments.
Readiness Programs
Connections to Success
Personal and professional development class plus ongoing network of support and skill-building opportunities
Focus: Growing in confidence, Setting and working toward personal and professional goals, Building core skills to find and maintain a living wage
Other supports: Professional clothing, Peer-support network, One-on-one job coaching, Weekly Monday dinners and workshops
Length: Two weeks
Schedule: Available weekly (rotating locations); 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday

Employment Connection
World of work training
Focus: Resume writing, Interviewing, Managing finances, Becoming an entrepreneur
Other supports: Professional clothing, One-on-one job search support
Length: Three days
Schedule: Offered weekly; 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday

Beyond jobs
Focus: Finding and keeping jobs, Growing personally as a leader, Completing goals
Other supports: One-on-one job coaching, Mentorship, Case management, Supportive services (additional benefits for those receiving SNAP)
Length: Four to eight weeks, plus monthly check-in for an additional year
Schedule: Four-week rotating class schedule; welcome meetings at 10 a.m. every Tuesday
